“With the Image quality plus the rain wiper, anti-fog, and water resistance, the A200’s ticked all the boxes we were looking for when approaching this type of outdoor production,” says Shepherd. With that in mind, Shepherd and company enlisted BirdDog A200 weatherproof PTZ and P200 PTZ cameras, which allowed the production to go on without any stoppages. The event would only be suspended if there was severe lighting or dangerous weather in the vicinity of the pool. The event ran for 13 days – both day and night sessions – and there was constant rain day and night across the opening three days of the Australian Age event. “So as a production we needed to have cameras that could work no matter the conditions – rain or no rain.” “Swimming is one of those interesting sports where rain doesn’t come into it – the athletes are going to get wet regardless,” says BigVoice Media Group co-founder Kristian Shepherd. Was held outside – forcing BigVoice Media Group to confront challenging weather conditions throughout. Held at Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, in Queensland, Australia, the entire event Last month, BigVoice Media Group was contracted by Swimming Australia as the host production for the 2021 Australian Swimming Championships & 2021 Australian Age Swimming Championships streamed live to Amazon Prime Video. Standby for the free copy.Despite heavy rain, the weatherproof PTZs allowed the production to proceed im having ****ty slow computer issues at the moment!
Anyways let me know if that would help and I can try and find a site for us to use. I actually just got the new black hero 3 for christmas and its pretty bad ass, definitely worth the upgrade. With that being said I have a copy of arena, I would just need to put it on a drop box/ file sharing site for you to download along with the gopro footage from chile. As far as what we used on M I was happy with resolume you just need to buy some sort of midi controller to map everything that way everything is right there when you need it, we used the apc 40 and it worked great, the program is really easy to map.
It really is all about personal preference because there are just so many different VJ softwares and most of them will let you download a trial of the software so you can play around with them and see which one you like best. Another program I've messed around with is Arkaos GranVj which is about 279 euros.
The only real major differences is in arena you have a few more output settings and you can do video mapping and gives you DMX control and a few other add ons but you can see all the differences online. The program we used was Resolume which has two programs, the basic one called avenue for 300 euros and the more advanced one called arena for i think like 700. Then the other option is to use a VJ Software like we were doing on M. You said your buddy was a DJ so if he uses serato they have an add on called SL Video where you can sync visual media with different audio tracks giving you the ability to control/ manipulate both the video and audio through the turntables/ cdj's all through one program.
"Ya so I've played around with some of the vj software and I think theres two routes you can go without spending too much on a full blown media server. I'm gonna download the program from dropbox.
